Mount Pleasant Hospital for Animals

 

Mt. Pleasant Hospital for Animals was founded on April 14th, 1977. The hospital is established in a charming historical building which dates from 1719 and was the ancestral home of the Newtown founding families: the Camps and the Platts.


At Mt. Pleasant Hospital for Animals, your beloved pet will benefit from the latest knowledge, high tech equipment and procedures to ensure the high standards you expect; as well as a warm, informative and kind bedside demeanor.

It is with a heavy heart and much regret to inform everyone know that our wonderful Dr. Brian J Silverlieb, founder veterinarian of Mt Pleasant Hospital for Animals, passed away on February 24th, 2011. As we all know he was struggling with his illness due to brain cancer. Our thoughts and prayers are with Dr. Silverlieb’s family during this tragic and untimely loss of such a wonderful veterinarian.
